Mixed media and acrylic paintings: Mountains, Skiers and Snow

Every year I try to go skiing if I can. I love the mountains, the large vistas and magic moments that are every skier's dream. This is when there is new snow, the sun shines and there are few others on the piste. My work has tried to capture such moments. When skiing I try to have both my sketch book and camera with me so that I can collect enough information for work in my studio later.

Recently I have done a number of mixed media pieces where I have been experimenting with texture paste, tissue paper, muslin, corrugated paper and glue to give a three dimensional effect to the work.
