Mountains, Snow and Skiers

Every year I try to go skiing if I can. I am not a particularly good skier, but I love the mountains, the large vistas and the magic moments that are every skiers dream when the sun is shining, there are few others on the piste and the snow is new and sparkles in the sun. This is the skiers dream. Such ski days do not come often, but when they do they make all the other days worth while.

I have been able to attend a print making course where I concentrated on various themes. One of these themes was skiing and mountains and snow. I collected a number of images of skiers and mountains and have made these into art works.

I used a limited palette of white, ultramarine blue, and red mixing the inks to give the colours needed.
