Far fields, red poppies, yellow oil seed

Red is my favourite colour, to paint with or to wear. While visiting the National Trust property of Waddesden I saw a field of poppies. Immediately the poppy field became more important than the stately home. The interest was the geometric patch work of interlocking fields, and the vibrancy of the red poppies which gave life to the art piece.
