Acrylic on board., 30 by 16 inches.
The B3269 runs between Bodmin and St Austell on the south coast of Cornwall. At one point you are still deep in the country, but can also see the moors, the river zig-zagging below Lostwithiael and the sea on the far horizon. It is the river that is the point of interest, but it was the whole scene which arranged itself before me which stopped me. Everything was bright sharply in focus after recent rain. I have used tissue paper and corrugated paper to give more texture to the piece.
