Big Wave

Acrylic on paper. 58 x 42 ins.

I never tire of watching the perpetual motion of the sea on the shore, the colours in the breaking waves, and the sun on the foam.

This piece was done flat. I used a paint filled broom and big arm movements to build the composition and to try and get the feeling of movement in the wave crashing on the shore.
