Acrylic and oil pastel on paper, 58 x 42in
This piece of art work came from another trip to north Wales. The inspiration came from a river side walk where the roar of water obliterated every other sound. In one spot the water cascaded on either side of a black rock, so that the rock looked a bit like the snout of a dragon. Between large boulders young trees struggled to grow. The wood made one feel as if one had gone back to the beginning of time.
