Storm Waves

This is one of a series of paintings done after watching huge storm waves crash on the shore near the Logan Rock near Porthcurno on the Penwith Peninsula in Cornwall. I have tried to get a more three dimensional feel to the rocks by using texture paste in my paint. The sun was shining on the waves making them transluscent as they crashed down.
