Sunlit Waves, Crashing on Dark Rocks

Acrylic on board. 20 by 20 ins.

This is a summer painting when the waves against the dark rocks seemed particularly exuberant. I put lots of texture paste to give a three dimensional effect to the work and there was lots of splashing and dribbling of paint to relocate the movement of water.
