Sunshine, Sea Spray and Foam on Dark Rocks

This painting was done from paintings and photographs taken at Kynance Cove on the Lizard peninsula in Cornwall.

Here the rocks at the entrance to the cove squeeze the incoming waves which break spectacularly on the dark rocks.

My painting has tried to catch this drama.
