The Sun in the Storm

This painting was done after visiting the the Tate Britain in London and looking at Turner's late seascapes. I was inspired and enthralled by Turners work. This piece was one of a number of large paintings I did after my visit. I painted the piece flat and did a lot of paint spilling and sploshing before I overdrew with oil pastels.
