FH192 with Flags and Floats

Collage. 22 by 34 ins.

This collage was made after a trip to Porthleven in Cornwall. The colour of the blue boat,the red flags on top of the floats and the crisscross of ropes all helped to mesh the composition together. I find that collage and putting down blocks of colour can give a physicality to the work that I cannot so easily obtain with painting.

FH192 is the number of the boat.
