Red van far away and beached yacht

While on a trip to Norfolk I went on a seal spotting trip to Blakeney head on the north Norfolk coast. The yacht in the piece was beached momentarily while the owners had gone off for a picnic. I took advantage of their absence and a brief stopover to do a sketch and to take some photographs from which a number of art pieces have evolved. I wanted to get a three dimensional feel to the piece. Collage seems to allow me to do this. I liked the bright sunlight and strong stark shadow. The red van takes the eye to the horizon.
