On a trip to Norfolk I stopped to watch the children crabbing at Wells Next the Sea.The hapless crabs were hauled out clinging to bacon pieces. Dads and grandfathers were having as much or more fun than their children!
A little further up the quay a crabbing and lobster fishermen were measuring and weighting their catch on scales slung across the middle of the boat. I loved the division of the page made possible by the weighing scales, and the bright red apron of one of the fishermen. My collage is my response to these moments of watching.
