Summer storm

This painting was painted flat on the lawn. The inspiration to begin came from Turner's late work to be seen in the Tate Britain. The painting was built in layers using a paint-laden broom to give the movement of the waves. I have also splattered wet paint and tipped the painting in an effort to give a watery fluid feel to the art piece.
