Powder Hounds

Water based printing ink on paper. 24 by 16 inches.

In this piece I was experimenting to try and get the movement of two skiers as they made first tracks through new powder snow. I wanted to portray the feather light snow flurries billowing out as the skiers progressed down the mountain.

I used a limited palette of colours including white, ultramarine, red and yellow.
