Silver Spray, Piling Waves, Shadowed Rocks

This painting is one of a series that I did after visiting Knance Cove on the Lizard. Kynance Cve is one of my favourite spots for gaining inspiration and being awed by the elements.

Here there are rocks and cliffs which seem to 'squeeze' the sea and make wave watching compulsive.

Kynance faces west so often there are dramatic light effects as the sun sets and the waves and cliffs are edged in sun and shadow.
