Printing ink on paper. 13 by 17 ins.
I have built this piece up using a limited palette of colours and I have used a stencil in places to get the crisp outlines I wanted. I printed onto coloured paper.
The Lizard peninsula has a wild and rocky coast line. Church Cove is near the Lizard point and the most southerly point of England. Church Cove is no more than a crack in the rocks which leads down to the sea. A tiny and very steep slope tips into the water. Small fishing boats are hauled up onto the slipway. From the headland which juts out beyond the inlet there is a view up the quay to the boats the houses and the winding road leading out of the valley.
