Evening Stars, Dark Trees, Black Birds

This painting was done after and Autumn visit to southern France. I made a trip into the hills north of Nice. North of Nice. The outline of dark trees and the birds outlined dark against the pale pink sky was my view from the station platform before returning to the coast.
