Wild Wave Over Rocks

Silk dye on silk, 12 x 12in

The inspiration for this piece comes from one of my many trips to Cornwall. The hot melted wax, which I have used as a resist, has been flicked onto the stretched silk to produce the splash of the waves against the rocks and give the fluidity to the piece.
